How does it work?

Facial skin tightening works by directing a nd:YAG laser beam of light into the skin, in conjunction with heat, which stimulates collagen production.

Is the treatment painful?

The treatment causes only minimal discomfort

How many treatments are required?

Typically 5-8 sessions are required depending on the area treated. The average treatment takes about 15 – 20 minutes. The treatment can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of typical anesthetics.

What can I expect from skin tightening?

Results may be seen after the first treatment!  Immediately you will notice your lines will begin to fill-in and your skin will feel and look tighter.  Follow-up treatments should be spaced in 3-6 week intervals. Your laser skin care technician will recommend products to maximize the skin tightening effect.

How long does recovery take?

You’ll be able to return to normal activities immediately, though sunscreen should be applied as a post-treatment precaution.
